**Job Description:**

Enchanted Forest Water Safari is seeking a dynamic and motivated Food Operations Intern to join our team for the upcoming summer season. As a Food Operations Intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of food service management within a fast-paced and exciting environment. This internship is ideal for college students pursuing degrees in hospitality management, culinary arts, or a related field who are eager to apply their classroom knowledge in a real-world setting.

**Responsibilities:**

1. **Assist with Food Preparation:** Work alongside our culinary team to prepare and assemble a variety of menu items, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation are maintained at all times.

2. **Customer Service:** Provide exceptional customer service to park guests by taking orders, processing transactions, and addressing any inquiries or concerns in a friendly and professional manner.

3. **Food Safety and Sanitation:** Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines, including proper handling, storage, and disposal of food items, as well as maintaining cleanliness and organization in kitchen and dining areas.

4. **Inventory Management:** Assist with inventory control procedures, including receiving and storing deliveries, conducting stock counts, and rotating products to ensure freshness.

5. **Team Collaboration:** Collaborate with team members from various departments to ensure smooth operations and excellent guest experiences throughout the park.

6. **Special Projects:** Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by Food Operations Managers, such as menu development, process improvements, or event coordination.

**Qualifications:**

- Currently enrolled in a college or university pursuing a degree in hospitality management, culinary arts, or a related field.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

- Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality service.

- Flexible schedule, including availability to work weekends and holidays.

- Prior experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
